Lisa Bartlett was appointed President, UK & Ireland at Crawford & Company effective October 1, 2019. She will be responsible for the company’s UK business and will focus on growing the business by continuing to attract and develop top talent and by offering tailored solutions to Crawford & Company’s clients.
Parag Bavishi was named Deputy Regional Head of the Americas at Allianz Risk Transfer on September 12, 2019. He leads the company’s structured corporate and integrated business. As Vice President of Underwriting since 2013, Parag was instrumental in scaling ART’s overall alternative portfolio in the region. Before joining the company in 2013, he held senior actuarial positions at Zurich Financial Services in London and New York, as well as Northbridge Insurance in Vancouver.
Michelle Bockin was appointed Director, Management & Professional Liability at Everest insurance on August 1, 2019. She is responsible for managing all Private/Not-For-Profit insureds’ in the Mid-Atlantic region. Michelle has more than 14 years of experience in Financial Lines. Most recently, she served as Assistant Vice President of Financial Lines at Chubb.
Edward J. Flanagan joined Risk Strategies as New England Regional Operations Leader on September 9, 2019. He is responsible for coordinating with the company’s regional operations leaders to drive organic growth in those territories, as well as facilitating the integration of acquired organizations into regional and national operations. Edward has 30 years of experience in the insurance brokerage business. Before joining the company, he worked as Producer at Arthur J. Gallagher.
Anthony Greene was appointed Vice President, Broker at Burns & Wilcox Brokerage on May 1, 2019. He is responsible for the growth of the company within the northeast area, using his Excess Casualty and Construction expertise to build on existing synergies across the team while creating innovative solutions and specialized programs for retail brokers and agents. Prior to joining the company, Anthony worked with Turner Surety and Insurance Brokerage as a Senior Risk Advisor.
Bill Nay has joined EPIC Holdings, Inc. as Chief Acquisition Officer. He has more than 15 years of mergers & acquisitions, capital markets and business development experience and success. Bill will source, develop, and drive mergers & acquisition activity across EPIC’s core retail brokerage business as well as the firm’s Specialty Programs and Products groups. He will also focus on leveraging the company’s core competitive advantages to develop new avenues for growth in areas like small business and warranty. In addition, Bill will be responsible for helping to coordinate post transaction integration support.
Michael Rouse was named US Property Practice Leader at Marsh on September 3, 2019. He has more than 20 years of property insurance experience. Most recently, he served as US Property Placement Leader at the company.
Michelle Sartain was appointed FINPRO Practice Leader, US and Canada at Marsh on September 3, 2019. She has more than 20 years of experience serving in roles of increasing responsibility at Marsh in FINPRO and in the US sales team, including most recently as US Sales Leader.
Peter Seeley has joined Alliant as Vice President within its Employee Benefits Group. He will design and deploy a full range of customized benefits solutions to a diverse client base as Alliant continues to add top talent to its growing Northwest benefits team. Peter’s expertise includes experience with some of the nation’s largest healthcare providers. He leverages this unique background to perform in-depth analyses and deliver health and wellness solutions that position employers for a healthy and profitable future. Before joining the company, Peter was a Senior Business Planner and Business Development Manager within the Portland branch of a national health plan.
David Sinclair has been named Senior Vice President, Marketing and Investments at Third Point Reinsurance. He will work on developing further opportunities in specialty reinsurance area and explore investment opportunities for the company, as part of its strategy to leverage its underwriting and capital markets expertise to offer capital alternatives. David joins Third Point Re with more than 25 years of insurance experience. Most recently, he was Head of Capital Solutions at Transatlantic Re.
Boone Stutz joined Higginbotham as Business Insurance Associate on August 20, 2019. He comes from Johnson & Johnson Ethicon Medical Devices, where he was a decorated national top sales performer and Regional Manager.
Austin Su was appointed US Underwriting Lead, Structured Risk Solutions at AXA XL on August 15, 2019. He focuses on developing structured (re)insurance for the company’s captives and large corporate clients. Austin has more than 20 years of extensive international insurance experience. He joins AXA XL from AIG where he held key positions in alternative risk business, country commercial lines leadership, and multinational & captive programs.
Elizabeth Wronski joined Everest Insurance as Associate Underwriter on July 8, 2019. She is responsible for providing specialized solutions and industry-leading services to the company's brokers and insureds throughout the Mid-atlantic Region.
Dr. Haoming Zhou was named General Manager and President of Starr China Property and Casualty Insurance Ltd. on September 2, 2019. He has more than 20 years of insurance industry experience. Prior to joining the company, he worked in Singapore, Sydney, Hong Kong, and Shanghai in a variety of senior management positions.
