Timothy Barrett joined Argo Pro as Assistant Vice President of Underwriting, Lawyer’s Professional on October 9, 2017. He is an experienced underwriting professional with over 25 years of industry experience. Most recently, Tim was the Assistant Vice President of Professional Liability at Crum & Forster, where he helped establish a regional office in Chicago, IL. Prior to working at Crum & Forster, he served as Assistant Vice President of Underwriting at Monitor Liability Managers, and was responsible for lawyers’ professional liability and accountants’ books of business.
Julie Branstetter joined Crystal & Company as a Managing Director in the Commercial Property & Casualty department on August 8, 2017. She serves as team leader in the Southern California region. Julie has over 30 years of experience and specializes in the construction industry. Prior to joining Crystal & Company, she was a Vice President at Wells Fargo Insurance Services.
Katherine “Kate” J. Brennan re-joined Marsh & McLennan Companies as Deputy General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer on October 18, 2017. From 2008 to 2015, she served in a number of leadership roles at Marsh & McLennan, including as General Counsel of Guy Carpenter. In her current role, Kate will lead the corporate legal and compliance teams and advise the company on a variety of complex legal, governance, compliance and regulatory matters.
Shealynn Buck has joined Lockton Benefit Group as Chief Medical Officer. She will advise employers on health strategies that improve employee wellbeing, reduce costs and improve productivity. A licensed physician, Shealynn most recently served as Vice President of health integration at Marsh & McLennan Agency. She previously was executive director of DeKalb Regional Health System’s WorksWell and medical director of the system’s Wellness Center. She has spoken extensively for organizations and with the news media on health issues including stress, disease prevention and transfusions.
Wesley J. Carson was appointed by Aon as Senior Vice President of Health & Benefits on August 2, 2017. In this role, he will focus on business development and employee benefits consulting, as well as helping mid-sized and large employers build a strategic program around healthcare reform compliance. Most recently, Wesley served as Vice President of Employee Benefits at Hub International where he was responsible for new business development, client service and healthcare reform compliance.
Brian Clanton has joined Lockton’s Nebraska operation as Vice President, Risk Management, Benefits, and Retirement Services. He has more than 20 years of industry expertise. Henry C. Lombardi has joined as Executive Vice President in NFP’s P&C division in September 2017. He has over three decades of leadership experience in the P&C industry, he will help advance NFP’s P&C capabilities, particularly in NFP’s specialty offerings. Henry was most recently at Aon, where he served as the Global Chief Broking Officer and Executive Vice President in the company’s construction and infrastructure practice. Prior to Aon, he spent 25 years at Allied North America, where he was President and Chief Operating Officer.
Bruce Love joined Liberty Specialty Markets – U.S. Reinsurance as Director on October 1, 2017. He is responsible for underwriting and management of general casualty treaty and professional liability accounts. Bruce has thirty years of reinsurance underwriting and client servicing experience with National Re, Employers Re, Transatlantic Re and most recently, Munich Re America.
Paul Marsden has been named Chief Executive Officer of Lockton’s Australia operation. As a founding member of Lockton’s Australia executive team, he has been driving national revenue growth since he started in 2012. Paul hopes to double the size of Lockton’s business by 2020. His vision focuses on developing Lockton Associates, adding tangible value to client business and delivering profitable financial growth. Paul began his insurance career in 1988 and rose to divisional manager of mining services at Aon. He went on to create one of the largest mining contractor books in Western Australia with Australian Reliance Group, before he joined Lockton in 2012.

She has a decade of experience within the insurance sector and a strong track record of underwriting network security and data privacy products. Courtney joins BGSU from Nationwide Insurance Company (Freedom Specialty) where she spent the last five years writing a book of cyber, technology and professional business. Prior to Nationwide Insurance, she held the position of Executive Underwriter at Hartford Financial Products where she underwrote cyber, management liability and E&O business.
Sal Morana has joined Alliant Employee Benefits as Senior Vice President and Pharmacy Practice Lead – Hospitals & Health Systems. He has nearly 25 years of broad pharmacy practice and industry experience to Alliant. Prior to joining Alliant, Sal was a Senior Consultant in the national pharmacy practice of a global advisory and brokerage firm. He had also held leadership positions across various health system pharmacy divisions that directed the strategic improvement of pharmacy services. Sal received certification in Executive Leadership for Healthcare Professionals from Cornell University and in Principles and Practices in Pain Medicine from Harvard Medical School. He is licensed to practice pharmacy in four states and is actively involved with a number of pharmacy organizations.
Catherine Mulligan was appointed by Aon Benfield as Managing Director and U.S. Cyber Practice Group Leader on October 20, 2017. She has underwriting expertise, policy form development and product knowledge to further enhance Aon’s cyber capabilities for insurers while driving the team’s growth into 2018 and beyond. Catherine was previously Head of Professional Liability at Zurich North America, where she managed Profit & Loss for the Miscellaneous and Healthcare Professional Liability and Security & Privacy portfolios. Previously, she was Head of Specialty Products Errors & Omissions, leading that team to double digit growth and establishing Zurich North America as a key market in the cyber space. Catherine has specialized in the risk management and risk transfer issues around Technology Errors & Omissions (E&O), Intellectual Property, and Security & Privacy for 20 years, both as an underwriter and a broker.
Nick Murrell has joined Heffernan Insurance Brokers as Executive Vice President. He joins Heffernan to establish its London office and expand operations further into the Lloyds and UK underwriting markets. Nick’s career to date has focused on listed multinationals, large United States, Europe and Caribbean corporate programs, as well as specialty facilities for industry associations based in the United States. He comes to Heffernan from JLT, having supported the Heffernan program for over a decade, and has a strong network developed while working at top-tier broking houses including Aon and Arthur J. Gallagher.
Robin R. Rider has joined Lockton as Client Services Executive. She has been working with clients in the property and casualty space since starting her career almost 20 years ago. Robin joins Lockton’s Mountain West Series and will serve the Denver and Las Vegas office as a key member on the property and casualty team. She has an extensive background in complex real estate construction, gaming/hospitality and public entities. Prior to joining Lockton, Robin spent more than decade at Willis Tower Watson working with large real estate, hospitality and construction clients. She will partner with Lockton’s Producers and service teams to onboard new clients, collaborate on client strategy, and manage client relationships. The insurance business has always been a part of Robin’s life since her father started Rider Risk, Specialists Insurance Agency in Cape Cod, MA, where she started her career.

Alistair Rivers joined Lockton as Global Head of Marine and Transportation. He will lead a revitalized team of global experts in our specialist marine hubs around the world. Alistair will lead Lockton’s global marine business to supercharge local capabilities and opportunities. He will also lead the other key transportation businesses of aviation, cargo and specie. Alistair’s leadership will cap a strong, newly developed team with a major global marine presence.
Lori Seidenberg joined BlackRock as Director and Head of Real Assets Insurance on October 2, 2017. She is responsible for strategy and oversight of the insurance programs and policies globally for real assets; due diligence and operational governance for the acquisition and construction activities of the Infrastructure businesses; oversee claims reporting processes; maintain oversight of insurance requirements and loss control standards for JV Partnerships, 3rd party asset managers, property managers, development managers and construction contractors; and reporting on insurance programs, claims and loss control to internal stakeholders, including investment and risk committees and boards.
Leonora Siccardi has been appointed Aon Benfield as EMEA & UK Head of Client Services on October 20, 2017. She reports to Maggie Westdale, CFO of Aon Benfield, Richard Posgate, Co-CEO of EMEA for Aon Benfield, and Nick Frankland, UK CEO of Aon Benfield. In her new role, which represents an expansion of Leonora’s current responsibilities as UK Head of Client Services at Aon Benfield, Leonora will oversee the strategic direction of the firm’s EMEA and UK claims and client services functions to ensure clients receive an outstanding service, both on a day-to-day basis and also post catastrophic events. Having joined Aon in 2006, she has held several positions within the group including Claims Manager for the Southern European Group Division, and Team Leader for the Financial & Professional Services Claims Coordinator Team for Aon Risk Solutions. In 2012, Leonora moved to Aon Benfield to become Head of Facultative EMEA Claims, and from 2014 served as Head of Claims Advocacy for Aon Risk Solutions, with responsibility for the development and delivery of a claims strategy for Aon’s Global Broking Centre in London. Other career highlights include working for Munich Re in Italy, and Willis in London.
Gretchen Thompson was appointed as Western Division Executive, Middle Market by The Hartford on October 16, 2017. She will lead The Hartford’s Middle Market sales and underwriting operations for the company’s independent agents, brokers and their customers in the western part of the United States, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Denver and Seattle. Gretchen, who was named to the Business Insurance Women to Watch list in 2016, has been with The Hartford since 2005 in roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as Regional Vice President based in California. Prior to joining The Hartford, she held various finance positions at General Electric.
